Ace Cogen

Summary:
Ace Cogeneration, LP owns a 108 MW coal-fired cogeneration facility located in Trona, CA. The plant began commercial operation in 1990 and sells electricity and generation capacity to Southern California Edison under a long-term contract.  The plant also provides steam to an adjacent chemicals plant owned by Searles Valley Minerals.

Black Bear Power
Location: Milford, ME

Summary: The Black Bear Hydro portfolio consists of 44.5 MW of installed capacity, consisting of the West Enfield facility (21.0 MW), which has a PPA with Bangor Hydro through 2024, as well as 5 merchant assets along the Penobscot and Union Rivers. Black Bear is currently the third largest hydro producer in Maine and is developing an additional 10 MW of expansion projects with staggered online dates between Q4 2011 and year-end 2013.

Brown Bear

Summary: Brown Bear Power owns 14 MW of hydroelectric generation located in the Androscoggin River in Maine. Brown Bear sells 100% of its power to Central Maine Power, a subsidiary of Iberdrola.

Courant Spain Holdings
Location: Barcelona, Spain

Summary:
Courant Spain Holdings, SAS owns and operates nine cogeneration power plants located throughout Spain with a combined power generation capacity of 110 MW and thermal capacity of 30 MWe.  The plants sell their power output into the Spanish wholesale market under an incentivized regulated tariff structure and sell steam to local industrial facilities. In addition, several of the cogeneration plants have associated carbon dioxide recovery plants that sell approximately 40k metric tons of carbon dioxide annually into the Spanish industrial gas market. Courant Spain Holdings is managed as part of the NeoElectra platform.

Crawfish Cogen
Location: Orange, TX

Summary:
Crawfish Cogen, LLC owns a 50% interest in Sabine Cogen. Sabine owns a 102 MW gas-fired cogeneration facility that began commercial operations in 1999. The facility sells steam and electricity under long-term contracts to two adjacent industrial hosts. Excess electricity is sold to Entergy Gulf States.

EMI Power Systems
Location: Springfield, MA

Summary:
EMI Power Systems is a joint venture between ArcLight and EMI Management, Inc. focused on developing combined cycle gas-fired generation facilities in key New England locations. EMI Power Systems will be managed by EMI Management, one of the premier power plant developers in New England with over 30 years of experience in developing, operating, owning and selling power projects.

Escalade Energy
Location: Cadillac, MI

Summary:
Escalade Energy, LLC indirectly owns a majority interest in Cadillac Renewable Energy. Cadillac is a 38 MW wood-fired power generation facility that began commercial operations in 1993 and sells its output to Consumers Energy Company under a 35-year power purchase agreement.

Great Point Power

Summary:
Great Point Power, LLC owns whole or majority interests in a fully contracted portfolio of four generation facilities and one transmission facility. The Portfolio is composed of approximately 695 MWs of net generation and 440 MWs of net transmission capacity with assets located in New York, New Jersey, Texas, California and Hawaii. The Projects operate under long-term power purchase agreements and a firm transmission capacity purchase agreement with investment-grade counterparties.

Hurrikan Power Funding

Summary:
Hurrikan Power Funding, LLC  owns a 100% interest in a generation portfolio in Germany consisting of seven operating wind farms totaling 65 MW and seven development wind farms totaling 85 MW.  The development projects were constructed under fixed price construction and supply agreements, and are now at full commercial operation.  All of the facilities sell their output to local utility companies under a 20-year fixed price tariff regime.

Lea Power
Location: Lea County, NM

Summary:
Lea Power Partners, LLC owns Hobbs Generating Station, a 550 MW combined cycle generating facility in Lea County, New Mexico.  When operational, the facility will sell power to Southwestern Public Service Company, an affiliate of Xcel Energy, under a 25-year power purchase agreement.
 

Liberty Bell Funding
Location: Nesquehoning, PA

Summary:
Liberty Bell Funding, LLC owns a 67.5% lessor interest in the Panther Creek Energy Facility located in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania.  Panther Creek is a 83MW waste coal power facility that sells 100% of its output to Metropolitan Edison under a long term PPA that expires in 2012. 

Orchid Environmental

Summary:
Orchid Environmental Limited was formed in 2002 to design, build, own and operate processing plants which convert solid municipal and commercial waste into higher value biofuel and recyclates. The first commercial plant, located in Huyton, England, began operation in 2008. The plant is contracted to process 50,000 tons per year of municipal solid waste by the Merseyside Waste Authority. The company is working with various commercial partners to expand the Huyton facility and construct other comparable plants in several locations.

Redwood II

Summary:
Redwood owns interests in nine operating gas-fired power facilities located in California. Eight of the nine plants sell power to Pacific Gas and Electric and one to Southern California Edison under long-term power contracts. Redwood also owns two service companies that provide fuel and Operations and Management services to these facilities.

Southeast PowerGen
Location: Georgia

Summary: Southeast PowerGen, LLC owns a 100% interest in five contracted natural gas-fired generation facilities located in Georgia. The facilities, which consist of one combined cycle facility (Effingham) and four peaking facilities (Washington, Walton, Monroe and Sandersville), have a combined capacity of more than 2,500 MW. Each facility sells 100% of output under long-term contracts with investment grade counterparties.

Sun Peak Power Holdings

Sun Peak Power Holdings, LLC owns a 50% interest in Nevada Sun Peak, a 222 MW dual-fuel simple cycle peaking unit located in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The facility sells 100% of its output to Nevada Power under a long-term power purchase agreement.

Terra-Gen Power

Terra-Gen Power, LLC is a leading, privately held renewable energy company focused on owning, operating, and developing utility-scale wind, geothermal, and solar generation. Terra-Gen owns 831 MW (net equity) in 21 operating renewable energy projects in six states across the western United States. The company has a robust pipeline of highly accretive wind, geothermal and solar projects that will quadruple the size of the company between 2010 and 2014, including the Alta Wind Energy Center (a/k/a California Highwind Power, LLC) in Tehachapi California.

Venango Power

Summary:
Venango Power, LLC and Crystal Creek Coalpower Funding, LLC own interests in Scrubgrass Generating Company. Scrubgrass is an 87 MW waste coal-fired generator located in Scrubgrass Township, Pennsylvania about 75 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.  The facility sells all of its output to Pennsylvania Electric Company under a long-term power purchase agreement.
 

Waterside
Location: Stamford, CT

Summary:
Waterside Power Holdings, LLC owns a 72-MW oil-fired peaker plant in Stamford, CT. The facility began operations in 2002, providing a temporary source of electric energy. In 2006, Waterside became a fully dispatchable year-round generating asset. Waterside sells electricity under a long-term contract to Connecticut Light and Power.
