Cardinal Power Funding
Location: Central Valley, CA

Summary:
Cardinal Power Funding, LLC was formed by ArcLight to provide funding for the development and construction of an 84 mile 500 kV transmission line upgrade along the Path 15 transmission corridor in central California. The line was constructed to help alleviate congestion points along this transmission system, as well as provide an additional 1500 MW of power in the critical south-to-north direction that increased the power supply flow from Southern California to Northern California and boosted southbound deliveries.

The Fund sold its interest in Cardinal Power to Atlantic Power in September 2006.

DG Energy Solutions
Location: Albuquerque, NM

Summary:
DG Energy Solutions, LLC was established in 2002 to develop, acquire, own, and operate commercial and industrial cogeneration, biomass, and district energy systems. DG currently owns and operates 11 plants with a net capacity of approximately 32 MW. DG focuses on regions where there is both a high overall cost of electricity as well as a high distribution/transmission component to the electrical charge.

DG Energy was sold in August 2006 to Marubeni.

MYR Group
Location: Rolling Meadows, IL

Summary:
MYR Group Holdings, LLC was formed to acquire a controlling interest in MYR Group, a leader in electric transmission and distribution construction and maintenance, as well as commercial and industrial construction, from FirstEnergy Corp.  MYR Group operates nationally through five principal subsidiaries with its oldest unit, LE Myers, having been in continuous operation since 1891.

In late 2007, the Fund substantially exited its ownership in MYR Group through a 144A equity sales transaction led by the FBR Group.

Zenith Telecom
Location: Lodi, CA
Initial Investment: 2001
Summary:
Zenith Telecom Trust owns 100% of the Class A Certificates of Beneficial Interest of Pinnacle One Partners, LP.  Pinnacle was formed to own the telecommunications assets of TXU Corp.  Zenith’s core assets consist of a traditional telephone business that serves residential and business customers in East Texas and in the greater Houston area, and a telecommunications business consisting of an integrated communications provider and a fiber optic transport business offering services throughout Texas.

The Zenith Certificates of Beneficial Interest were redeemed by TXU in January 2003.
